Summary
- Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' daughter Lola visits from London
- Lola's presence negatively affects the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' NFL season
- Mark Consuelos believes Lola and Kelly's arrival "jinxed" the Buccaneers' game

In mid-October 2025, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos welcomed their daughter Lola back home to New York for a visit. The 24-year-old had been living in London for the past two years, but decided to return to the family's residence in the Big Apple. However, Lola's homecoming did not go as smoothly as expected.
While Mark was watching his favorite NFL team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, play against the San Francisco 49ers, Lola and Kelly entered the room. According to Kelly, something "bad happened" during the game after their arrival, though she was not paying close attention. Mark then "declared that maybe we were bad luck" for the Buccaneers, who ended up defeating the 49ers 30-19.
Despite Mark's initial claim, he later denied making the "bad luck" comment. However, Kelly insisted that "somebody said it" when she and Lola walked in. The couple then decided to leave the room, with Kelly joking that she didn't mind "not watching this game" anymore.
Lola, who is currently in the process of applying for a visa extension to stay in London for another five years, has also been working on her debut music EP, which is set to release on October 17th. The budding musician's homecoming visit to her parents in New York appears to have caused some unexpected superstition and drama in the Ripa-Consuelos household.
