Green noted a practical challenge with his cowboy hat, which conflicted with the design of the show's prominent Big Red Chair. Unlike previous country coaches such as Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire, Green's hat brim presented an issue.
With assistance from host Carson Daly, a solution was devised: a custom holster attached to the side of Green's chair. This modification allows him to maintain his authentic cowboy image. The show previously accommodated the coaching duo Dan + Shay in Season 25 by designing a unique two-seated Big Red Chair.
The Voice Season 30 is scheduled to premiere at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, September 21, on NBC, with episodes available for streaming the following day on Peacock. Green will compete against coaches including Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and Queen Latifah.
