A flight attendant recently had a "wonderful" experience meeting global superstar Rihanna on a flight within Canada. Lily Kahnerahtiio Dailleboust, who is Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) from Montreal, shared footage of her encounter with the singer. The flight was traveling from Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto to Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. Dailleboust presented Rihanna with a gift, and the singer expressed profound gratitude, noting it was something "very special."
Dailleboust also taught Rihanna how to say "Niá:wen," the Mohawk word for thank you. The pop icon, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, was recently in Canada, having attended her husband A$AP Rocky's concerts in Montreal on June 1 and Toronto on May 31. A$AP Rocky's tour also includes upcoming dates in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary in early July.
