In a recent interview, Riddhima addressed questions about her late father, Rishi Kapoor's, stance on her acting career. She firmly stated that her father was always supportive and would have backed her endeavors, contrary to any assumptions that he might have restricted her from entering films.

Riddhima recalled her father's supportive nature when she pursued higher education abroad, highlighting his initial stress but ultimate trust in her capabilities. She believes he would have enthusiastically supported her film debut, especially alongside her mother, offering guidance throughout the process.
