Riddhima Kapoor Sahni Reflects on Ranbir's Role as Family's "Pillar" After Father's Passing

On the occasion of Bhai Dooj in October 2025, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared touching insights about her relationship with her brother, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor. Reflecting on their upbringing, Riddhima revealed that despite growing up in a famous family, she and Ranbir have always had a "very normal sibling relationship," filled with the usual teasing, fighting, and occasional secrets from their parents.

Riddhima emphasized that their bond has only grown stronger since the passing of their father. "Losing Papa brought us even closer," she said. "Our bond has always been strong, but now it's deeper." Ranbir, she noted, has become a "pillar in the family," always there for Riddhima and their mother, and a "great son, an amazing brother, a hands-on dad, and also a truly wonderful husband."

Riddhima also described Ranbir as her "biggest cheerleader," constantly offering honest advice and feedback, even when she was filming. "He's always available to offer advice whenever I need it," she said, adding that she often consulted him, asking, "Does this look okay? Should I change something?" to which Ranbir would respond with kindness.

The siblings' strong bond is evident in their public appearances, with Ranbir and his wife Alia Bhatt recently sharing heartwarming Diwali celebration pictures from their Vaastu home before moving into their new residence. The Kapoor family's close-knit relationships, even in the face of loss, serve as a testament to the enduring power of family ties.
