He stated that bringing in fresh voices is always the most exciting aspect for him as a fan.

When asked directly about returning, Johnson, who directed the divisive but critically noted "The Last Jedi," indicated that while he would feel "blessed" if another opportunity arose, there are currently no active plans. This comes after his own previously announced trilogy of films was seemingly put on hold. Kennedy had suggested that online backlash might have influenced his decision, a claim Johnson swiftly refuted on social media, stating he was "zero spooked."
