In a heartfelt ceremony at The Bravos in Las Vegas on November 16, 2025, former 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss was honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Burruss, who was part of the Bravo franchise for 14 seasons, took the stage to accept the accolade from her former co-star Cynthia Bailey and Bailey's daughter, Riley Burruss.
During her emotional acceptance speech, Burruss reminisced about her time on 'RHOA', admitting that she initially thought the show would be "something cute to do for a little while." However, she soon realized that Bravo had other plans, as she found herself "crying, laughing, arguing, singing, reading bitches or checks" that she never expected.
Burruss also took the opportunity to thank the Bravo fans, who have continued to support her even after her departure from 'RHOA.' She noted that her fans have shown up for her Broadway productions, watched her TV shows, and supported her online streams, dubbing them the "Kandi-coated click."
As Burruss reflected on her Bravo journey, she expressed pride in her daughter Riley, who now stars on her own Bravo show, 'Next Gen NYC.' Burruss joked that her family has provided Bravo "way more drama than they paid for," but she is thrilled to see the torch passed on to the next generation of Bravo stars.
