Rhiti Tiwari, a contestant on Bigg Boss 20, has responded to public challenges regarding her financial disclosures on the reality show by initiating legal action. Punjabi singer Ekam Bawa, who identifies as her stepfather, questioned her narrative of financial struggle, citing her possession of expensive handbags and vehicles. Bawa contrasted Tiwari's claimed monthly allowance of Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 with the high cost of maintaining a luxury lifestyle.

Tiwari, who previously spoke on the show about her father, actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, and her upbringing with limited financial support, stated that the legal process is now underway. She indicated that all future updates will come through legal channels or her agency, choosing not to comment further publicly while the matter is being addressed legally. The show, hosted by Salman Khan, features a unique theme allowing contestants an additional chance to remain in the competition.
