Over the past five years, Group Effort has placed 1,056 paid internships and initiated 247 hires within studios and production companies. It has also supported 365 on-set production assistant roles across 209 film and TV productions. Currently operating in 20 cities, the initiative collaborates with over 550 partners, including major studios like Netflix and Disney.
Looking ahead, Group Effort is expanding its scope with programs like the Adobe-sponsored Mid-Level Bootcamp, aimed at advancing participants into directorial and managerial roles. Reynolds and Lively envision a future where access and mentorship are standard, not exceptional, and where those who benefited from the program become the agents of continued change, making inclusion an inherent part of filmmaking.
