Renowned Punjabi Bodybuilder Varinder Singh Ghuman Dies Suddenly After Surgery Complication

In a shocking turn of events, Punjabi actor and renowned bodybuilder Varinder Singh Ghuman has passed away at the age of 47. According to reports, Ghuman was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Amritsar last month for what was meant to be a minor surgery on his bicep. However, the 47-year-old suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during the procedure and could not be revived.

Ghuman's untimely death has sent shockwaves across both the bodybuilding and film communities. Known for his towering physique and calm persona, he was one of India's most recognized faces in professional bodybuilding, having won the Mr. India title in 2009 and finishing runner-up at the Mr. Asia competition. Ghuman's reputation extended beyond India's borders when, in 2013, Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger personally selected him to represent his fitness products in Asia.

Transitioning from bodybuilding to cinema, Ghuman made his mark in the Punjabi film industry with his debut in "Kabaddi Once Again" in 2012. He later ventured into Bollywood, appearing in supporting roles in films like "Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans" and "Marjaavaan." His most recent role was in the upcoming "Tiger 3," where he played a Pakistani prison guard alongside Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
