Renowned Choreographer Paul Roberts Dies at 52 After Cancer Battle

Renowned choreographer Paul Roberts has passed away at the age of 52 after a courageous battle with cancer. According to a joint Instagram post by his partner Phil Griffin, Roberts died on September 26, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Roberts was known for his work with popular artists, including One Direction and Harry Styles. He had collaborated with the boy band on several music videos, and later joined forces with Styles for his "Treat People With Kindness" video, which earned Roberts an MTV VMA for Best Choreography in 2021.

In addition to his work with Styles and One Direction, Roberts had an extensive career, working with a diverse range of artists such as Spice Girls, Katy Perry, Sir Paul McCartney, Prince, Diana Ross, Destiny's Child, Ed Sheeran, and Dolly Parton.
