Renée Elise Goldsberry is set to join her "Evil" co-star Mike Colter in the upcoming CBS legal drama titled "Cupertino." The series, which received a series order in October, is being developed by Robert and Michelle King, the acclaimed creators of "Evil," who will also serve as writers and executive producers.
Goldsberry is slated to play Renee, a formidable opposing attorney with a complex professional and romantic history with Colter's character. Colter portrays Michael, a lawyer recently dismissed by a Silicon Valley start-up in an attempt to defraud him of his stock options. Determined not to concede, Michael unites with another recently terminated attorney.
