Director-choreographer Remo D'Souza recently offered high praise for Riteish Deshmukh, commending his exceptional vision and impeccable execution in the newly released historical film 'Raja Shivaji'. D'Souza took to Instagram to share his admiration for Deshmukh's work on the epic about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He highlighted the technical brilliance and authenticity with which the story was brought to life, stating that Deshmukh didn't just recreate history but made audiences feel it.

D'Souza expressed gratitude for being included in the grand spectacle, calling the experience a significant moment in cinema. 'Raja Shivaji' aims to captivate audiences with its depiction of the iconic warrior-king, blending action, drama, and patriotic fervor. The film boasts an impressive cast including Genelia D'Souza, Vidya Balan, Sanjay Dutt, and Abhishek Bachchan, with a cameo by Salman Khan. The film has shown strong performance, with domestic gross collections reaching Rs 39.50 crore.

'Raja Shivaji' benefited from its holiday release and advance bookings, maintaining steady business over its opening weekend. While weekday collections are subject to audience reception and reviews, the film has generally performed well compared to recent historical releases. Sacnilk reports indicated that on its fourth day, the film earned Rs 5.6 crore, a decrease from Sunday's Rs 12 crore, bringing the total domestic net collection to Rs 46.95 crore.
