Dancer-choreographer Remo D'Souza, along with actors Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, visited the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Friday night. They participated in the sacred Shayan Aarti of Lord Mahakaleshwar, a significant nightly ritual at the Jyotirlinga shrine. Arriving around 10 pm, the celebrities joined other devotees for the auspicious ceremony. During the aarti, they were seated in the Nandi Hall, witnessing the ritual.
Following the aarti, the trio offered prayers to Nandi Maharaj, traditionally whispering their wishes into its ears. They then proceeded to the Silver Gate area to receive the blessings of Lord Mahakaleshwar. Photos and videos of their visit circulated online, receiving warm fan reactions. The Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee also extended a welcome and felicitated the visitors after the ceremony.
This spiritual visit marks a continuation of their devotional practices, with Lokhande having recently visited the temple with her husband, and D'Souza being a repeat visitor. The Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain is a prominent pilgrimage site, attracting many public figures. Lokhande and Jain are currently participants on the reality show 'Laughter Chefs - Unlimited Entertainment'.
