The next chapter of Alex and Prince Harry's romance is unfolding in the upcoming film, "Red, White & Royal Wedding." Co-writer Casey McQuiston revealed that the sequel will be more intense than the first movie, featuring an "up-dialed" intimacy.
McQuiston also shared that the film will delve into the domestic life of the couple, now that they are together. The sequel, based on McQuiston's 2019 novel, was announced in May 2024, and its production has now been completed, with the cast celebrating behind the scenes.
The original story saw President Ellen Claremont's son Alex develop a secret romance with Prince Henry after an initial embarrassing encounter threatened U.S./U.K. relations. Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine are reprising their roles as Alex and Prince Henry, respectively, for the sequel.
