Rex Linn's Leopard Scare Foiled Reba Proposal

Rex Linn recently shared details about his near-proposal to Reba McEntire during a 2024 safari in South Africa, which was unexpectedly halted. Linn and their guide had scouted a scenic spot, but the guide cautioned against it due to it being an "evening migratory walkway for male leopards." This wildlife encounter led Linn to abandon that specific location.

Despite the safari setback, Linn successfully proposed to McEntire on December 24, 2024. The proposal took place during a relaxed walk by a creek on her Tennessee ranch. McEntire recalled Linn asking, "Would you marry me? I want to cross the finish line with you," to which she happily accepted.

The country superstar expressed immense joy in her current relationship, stating she feels like a teenager again and is happier than ever at 70 years old. The couple, who met in 1991 and began dating in 2020, plan to make South Africa, a place they both adore, their honeymoon destination.
