Reality Star Kate Gosselin Hospitalized After Dog Attack

In late September 2025, reality TV personality Kate Gosselin was hospitalized after a freak accident involving one of her dogs. Gosselin, 50, revealed in a TikTok video that her puppy, Meika, had run into her at full speed, resulting in a tibial plateau fracture in her knee.

The injury, which Gosselin described as "life-altering," required immediate surgery with the insertion of plates and pins. Gosselin shared updates throughout her hospital stay, noting that the procedure was one of the "top 3 most painful" she had ever experienced, requiring five different pain medications.

Despite the surgery and the use of a cold therapy system to reduce swelling and inflammation, Gosselin has continued to experience significant pain in her leg. In her latest update, she expressed that the discomfort had become "unable to be ignored."

Gosselin's hospitalization came just a day after she had shared a mysterious photo of her arm with an IV, asking her followers to "pray" for her. The reality star, who rose to fame on the show Jon & Kate Plus 8, has been keeping her fans informed of her recovery progress through a series of TikTok videos.
