Ernest Cline's bestselling novels, Ready Player One and Ready Player Two, are set to be released as graphic novel adaptations. Ready Player One: The Graphic Novel will debut as a Target-exclusive hardcover on October 6, 2026, followed by a wider trade release on March 2, 2027. The adaptation of Ready Player Two is anticipated to launch in 2028.
DC Comics veteran Scott Peterson and illustrator Meredith Laxton are spearheading these adaptations. Ernest Cline has actively collaborated with Ten Speed Graphic, expressing his satisfaction with the adaptation's ability to capture the spirit of his work.
