However, Mecklenburg County is currently under a Code Orange air quality alert due to extreme heat, which exacerbates smog and poses breathing difficulties, particularly for those with respiratory conditions.
MEDIC is implementing extensive measures to ensure public safety. They will have a mass-casualty unit and other emergency vehicles staffed by paramedics to patrol the stadium vicinity. The primary objective is to offer on-site medical attention, thereby preventing an influx of patients to local emergency rooms.
Paramedics advise attendees to hydrate well before and during the concerts, wear lightweight, loose-fitting attire, and use sunscreen or hats for sun protection. Seeking shade whenever possible is also recommended. Attendees are permitted to bring two unopened plastic water bottles into the stadium.
