18 Feb
Summary
- Ray J is accused of using fake blood during a live performance.
- Footage appears to show the singer applying the substance backstage.
- This follows his recent claims of having only one year left to live.

Ray J has been accused of orchestrating a stunt involving fake blood during his live performance on February 14 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Concertgoers initially expressed concern as blood appeared to drip from the singer's eyes and a heart monitor during the show. However, subsequent footage obtained by KTAL 6 seemingly shows Ray J applying a substance to his face prior to taking the stage.
A photographer at the event described the incident as theatrical, stating that Ray J "loves the attention." This alleged fake blood display follows Ray J's recent public statements regarding his health. In January, he announced he had only one year left to live, citing severe pneumonia, ongoing heart issues, and the long-term effects of past drug and alcohol use.
Ray J had claimed that the right side of his heart had turned black and that his heart was only functioning at 25%. He also stated his medical team gave him only a few months to live, predicting that "2027 is definitely a wrap for me." His manager later commented that artists must perform regardless of their condition.
