Venezuelan band Rawayana has embarked on its inaugural world arena tour, ¿Dónde Es El After?, a journey that began with a simple vision presented on a laptop. This milestone event was a focal point at Billboard Latin Music Week 2026, where band members Alberto "Beto" Montenegro and Andrés "Fofo" Story, alongside Live Nation’s Hans Schafer, shared the tour's genesis.
The ¿Dónde Es El After? tour, promoted by Live Nation, features 23 dates across North America, commencing in San Francisco on October 15, 2026. Stops are scheduled in Atlanta, Toronto, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, culminating in Miami with three sold-out performances in December 2026.
Schafer highlighted Rawayana's unique identity, noting, "There's no path without failure; you have to find that identity." The band, whose album ¿Dónde Es El After? is nominated for album of the year at the 2026 Latin Grammys, previously sold out arenas in Europe and Latin America earlier this year.
Montenegro and Story reflected on their Venezuelan roots, emphasizing how necessity fostered their business acumen. "We had to invent, produce our own concerts and intuitively learn every aspect of the business," Montenegro stated, crediting iconic bands like Los Amigos Invisibles for inspiration.
The pandemic served as a catalyst for Rawayana's creative evolution, prompting a reevaluation of their sound and approach. The band embraced change, adopting a more modern, digitally-driven methodology and harnessing the power of manifestation, fueled by resilience and pride in their project founded in Caracas in 2011.
Concluding the panel, Hans Schafer announced Live Nation's $100,000 donation to Fundación El After, a foundation recently established by Rawayana to support recovery efforts in Venezuela following a significant earthquake on June 24, 2026.
