In the run-up to the Sankranthi festival in 2026, Telugu cinema is set to be dominated by big stars and family entertainers, with Ravi Teja's 76th film, 'Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi', joining the lineup. The actor shared the title announcement and a new poster on X, revealing the film's Sankranthi 2026 release.
Directed by Kishore Tirumala, 'Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi' is a wholesome family entertainer mounted on a grand scale. Ravi Teja plays the lead role of Rama Satyanarayana, a man caught between two questions posed by the important women in his life - questions that even technology and AI fail to answer. The title glimpse showcases Ravi Teja's witty reflection on marriage and relationships, culminating in the amusing title reveal.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, the film also stars Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi as the female leads. The technical team includes Bheems Ceciroleo on music, Prasad Murella as cinematographer, Sreekar Prasad as editor, and AS Prakash handling production design. The team is currently shooting an energetic dance number featuring the lead actors on a specially erected set in Hyderabad.
With the Sankranthi 2026 release confirmed, 'Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi' will compete with other big-ticket releases like Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi's 'Mana Shiva Shankara Vara Prasad' and Prabhas' 'The Raja Saab'. Fans are hopeful that this film will mark a strong comeback for Ravi Teja, following the lukewarm response to his previous release, 'Mass Jathara'.
