The Delhi High Court has issued a significant interim order to protect the personality rights of actor and Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament Ravi Kishan. Justice Jyoti Singh passed the order on July 2, 2026, which was uploaded on July 6, 2026, in response to a commercial suit filed by Kishan. The court's directive prohibits individuals and unknown entities from misusing Ravi Kishan's name, image, voice, and likeness on digital platforms.

This legal action was prompted by Kishan's allegations that his identity was being exploited for commercial purposes. He cited instances of fake advertisements, AI-generated content, fabricated statements, and the circulation of vulgar reels and even pornographic material online. The actor stated that such misuse not only harmed him personally but also impacted his family and political standing.

Ravi Kishan welcomed the court's intervention, expressing his gratitude and highlighting the necessity of this protection. He noted the damage to his reputation and the negative effects on his political party due to the rampant online misrepresentation. He specifically mentioned the use of his voice, name, and photograph for fake AI advertisements to sell products, considering the court's order a significant relief.
