Raven-Symoné Forgets Own Hit Song on Podcast

During a recent episode of her podcast, Raven-Symoné faced a surprising challenge when she was unable to identify her own song, "Double Dutch Bus," from its lyrics. The actress and singer, known for her role in "That's So Raven," expressed confusion, even humorously speculating that the song might be by a white artist. This moment led to significant laughter on the podcast.

Raven's rendition of "Double Dutch Bus" was a cover of Frankie Smith's 1981 funk track. She recorded it for the soundtrack of her 2008 film "College Road Trip," and it also served as the lead single for her fourth album. Although Raven retired from touring in 2008, she has continued to perform, including a role in "Sister Act" on Broadway in the early 2010s and an appearance on "The Masked Singer" in 2019.
