Rashmika & Vijay's Mehendi: A Cultural Fusion

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda recently illuminated social media with cherished photographs from their mehendi ceremony, celebrating their union with vibrant, custom-designed ensembles. The outfits, crafted by Delhi-based designer Karan Torani, were a tapestry of cultural symbolism and personal narratives. Rashmika's attire, a fusion of a skirt set and corset blouse, was adorned with motifs inspired by Goddess Lakshmi and the rich art of Tanjore painting, signifying prosperity and new beginnings.

Vijay Deverakonda complemented Rashmika's look with an outfit that drew inspiration from the Deccan region's royal heritage and traditional veshti dressing. His ensemble featured a green kurta, indigo veshti, and an intricately embroidered jacket, accessorized with a necklace inspired by Maharaja insignias. The designer emphasized that their attire served as a reflection of their union, bridging their distinct cultural roots from Mysore and the Deccan through color, craft, and celebration.
