Rashami Desai Returns to TV After 8 Years

Rashami Desai is making a highly anticipated return to television fiction after an eight-year hiatus. She will star in the upcoming show titled 'Sayoneee,' portraying a character named Maya.

Desai explained her extended break by stating she intentionally turned down multiple offers over the years. Her decision was driven by a commitment to find a story and character that genuinely connected with her on a deeper level. She felt compelled to wait for a project that offered purpose.

The actress highlighted that her character Maya in 'Sayoneee' is not a figment of imagination but a practical and realistic portrayal. She believes that as an artist, the goal should be to create memorable work that resonates with audiences, rather than simply focusing on visibility and earnings.

Desai further elaborated that she wasn't merely seeking a comeback but a meaningful opportunity. She found this unique spark in 'Sayoneee,' asserting that the show's narrative is more significant than the individual actors involved.
