Siblings Rasha & Ranbirvardhan: Rakhi bond stronger than distance

Rasha and Ranbirvardhan Thadani are celebrating Raksha Bandhan, reflecting on a sibling relationship shaped by distance and mutual admiration. Ranbirvardhan, who is studying in London, is making his first-ever media appearance to discuss their bond.

As Ranbirvardhan lives abroad for his studies, Rasha noted that Raksha Bandhan now signifies a deeper understanding of their commitment to always support each other. She recalled their mother, Raveena Tandon, encouraging her protective role towards her younger brother, calling her 'sister-mumma.'

Ranbirvardhan described Rasha as a constant source of support and someone who is very protective of him. He humorously mentioned touching her feet during Raksha Bandhan as a way to tease her about her age. Rasha expressed pride in his independence and ability to adapt to life away from home.

Despite their mother being a well-known actress, Rasha stated that Raveena Tandon worked diligently to shield them from the full impact of the limelight. This upbringing allowed them a relatively normal childhood, free from excessive public attention.

Ranbirvardhan added that growing up with a famous mother made him accustomed to public attention, which he now applies to Rasha's growing popularity. He sees her primarily as his sister. The siblings are set to celebrate the festival together in person during Ranbirvardhan's summer break.
