In a recent interview, Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey has shared insights into his personal life, including his experiences with dating apps and parenting following his separation from ex-wife Konkona Sen Sharma.
Shorey, who married Sen Sharma in 2010, finalized their divorce in 2015. The former couple share a 14-year-old son, Haroon. Shorey spoke about the importance of maintaining appropriate boundaries with ex-partners, stating that he is not in favor of being "so in touch that it makes your present partner uncomfortable."
The actor also admitted to using online dating apps, noting that the requirements for a match would be different for him as a divorced single father compared to a 30-year-old. Shorey reflected on the timing of his separation from Sen Sharma, explaining that he waited until their son was four years old to initiate the process, as he felt that would be a less traumatic age for the child to adapt to the new family dynamic.
Professionally, Ranvir Shorey will reprise his role as Chote Dawaan in the second season of the comedy-drama series Bindiya Ke Bahubali, which is set to premiere on Amazon MX Player.
