Ranveer Singh: From Box Office Woes to Blockbuster Success

Actor Ranveer Singh has reflected on a difficult phase in his career prior to the phenomenal success of the Dhurandhar franchise. He expressed gratitude for the unwavering love and support he received, even when some of his films faced box office challenges.

Singh highlighted that career trajectories naturally involve ups and downs. The immense faith shown in him for the ambitious, two-part Dhurandhar saga, which reportedly garnered over Rs 3,000 crore worldwide, was particularly meaningful given the prior struggles.

He specifically credited the Jio team and the Ambani family for their strong conviction in the project during a quieter period at the box office, acknowledging the scale and challenges of its execution.

With Dhurandhar now behind him, Ranveer Singh is engaged in new large-scale projects. He is currently filming Pralay, a near-future survival drama set in Mumbai, which features a zombie outbreak following a pandemic.

Pralay will also mark Singh's debut as a producer. He stars alongside Kalyani Priyadarshan, whose performance in Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra gained attention in 2025. Details about Pralay remain scarce as production continues.

In his personal life, Ranveer Singh is entering a new phase, preparing for parenthood again with wife Deepika Padukone. The couple welcomed their daughter Dua in 2024.
