Ranbir Kapoor's Tribute to Rishi Kapoor on Phone Wallpaper

Ranbir Kapoor has been spotted in Mumbai sporting a moustache, indicating a shift back to his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love and War'. This follows his extensive work on 'Ramayana', where he portrayed Lord Rama. His recent appearance, transitioning from a clean-shaven look to a rugged, bearded one, quickly garnered attention.

Further endearing him to fans, eagle-eyed observers noticed that Ranbir's phone wallpaper featured a photograph of his late father, the legendary actor Rishi Kapoor. This touching detail emerged as Kapoor was seen en route to the USA for 'Ramayana's' trailer launch at Comic-Con.

Ranbir Kapoor is currently navigating a demanding period in his career. He recently concluded promotional activities for 'Ramayana', a film currently in production. While Part 1 has wrapped, the climax of the epic, Rama vs. Ravana, for Part 2 is still being filmed. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, 'Ramayana' is scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release.

Simultaneously, Kapoor is engaged with 'Love and War', a highly anticipated film that reunites him with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. This production has experienced several delays and is slated for a January 21, 2027 release.

Fans eagerly awaiting 'Ramayana' will soon be able to watch it online, with its release scheduled for July 30 at 4:15 am IST.
