Ghai elaborated on five key reasons for his enduring admiration for Kapoor. These include Ranbir's status as a fourth-generation superstar from the closely associated Kapoor family, his authentic and self-aware personality devoid of star-family pretenses, his demonstrated depth and versatility as an actor, his parentage by Ghai's dear friends Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, and their shared history from the early film.
