The seventh-floor apartment, spanning 2,460 sq ft, was leased on May 19, 2026, for a monthly rent of Rs 11 lakh. This five-year agreement with Aditya Shukla includes a 5% escalation clause and a Rs 45 lakh security deposit. Kapoor had purchased this property for Rs 35 crore in 2016.
While his Vaastu apartment now has a tenant, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are settled in the ancestral Krishna Raj bungalow. This property, named after Kapoor's late grandmother, underwent extensive renovation and was completed in 2025. It is reportedly valued at Rs 250 crore.
In other real estate news, Ranbir Kapoor has invested Rs 3.31 crore in a 2,134 sq ft land parcel at The Sarayu, a development in Ayodhya. This project is situated along the Sarayu River and includes various amenities and a luxury hotel.
On the professional front, Kapoor is preparing to portray Lord Rama in the upcoming two-part film 'Ramayana,' which has an estimated budget of Rs 4,000 crore. The film also features an ensemble cast including Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Ravie Dubey.
