Vijay Deverakonda's 'Ranabaali' Eyes October 16 Release

Vijay Deverakonda's much-anticipated period action drama, 'Ranabaali,' will premiere in cinemas worldwide on October 16, 2026. The actor revealed the release date through a striking new poster, depicting him in a rugged, moustached warrior persona that complements the historical narrative.

The film's storyline is set in 19th-century South India, specifically between 1854 and 1878, during British colonial rule. 'Ranabaali' delves into the resistance against economic exploitation by the British, with drought-affected regions forming a crucial part of its backdrop.

Adding to the excitement, 'Ranabaali' reunites Vijay Deverakonda with his 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Dear Comrade' co-star Rashmika Mandanna, who essays the role of his wife, Jayamma. The film also features Arnold Vosloo, known for 'The Mummy,' as the antagonist, Sir Theodore Hector.
