Rana Daggubati's Impromptu 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' Cameo

Rana Daggubati recently recounted an amusing behind-the-scenes story regarding his cameo in the 2013 film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.' He revealed that the appearance was not pre-planned but occurred spontaneously due to his close friendships with actor Ranbir Kapoor and director Ayan Mukerji.

Daggubati explained that Kapoor and Mukerji unexpectedly visited his hotel room, where he was staying while filming another movie. They persuaded him to join them for a late-night shoot in Udaipur that very night, joking that he felt 'kidnapped.'

He mentioned that a different prominent actor had initially been offered the role but declined it. Daggubati recalled the unusual experience of being whisked away for filming and returning the next morning to resume his other commitments, noting his vague recollection of the shoot itself.

The actor also expressed his perspective on film roles, stating that he does not consider cameos to be on par with full-fledged acting parts. In 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,' directed by Ayan Mukerji, Rana Daggubati briefly appeared as a character who attempts to flirt with Deepika Padukone's character, Naina.
