- A grand Mithila set in Mumbai features palace courtyards and junior artistes.

Actor Yash is currently engaged in filming the segments featuring Ravana for Nitesh Tiwari's ambitious Ramayana project. This past week, the production unit focused on capturing the grand swayamvar sequence for Sita, a significant turning point in the epic narrative. The filming is taking place on a large, meticulously crafted Mithila set located in Film City, Goregaon, Mumbai.
The elaborate set recreates the royal ambiance of the Mithila kingdom, boasting expansive palace courtyards, ornate balconies, and intricate floral decorations. Hundreds of junior artistes have been incorporated to lend scale and authenticity to the swayamvar. Central to this schedule is Yash as Ravana, whose commanding entry and unsuccessful attempt to lift the Shiva Dhanush are being prominently featured.
Sai Pallavi, essaying the role of Sita, is anticipated to join the shoot at a later stage. Currently, the production's priority remains on the sequences involving Ravana and the dramatic swayamvar. The two-part Ramayana, also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sunny Deol, is slated for a major Diwali release later this year.
