The ambitious film adaptation of 'Ramayana' is gearing up for a grand release in two installments, scheduled for Diwali 2026 and 2027. This mythological epic is being produced with an unprecedented budget of Rs 4,000 crore, highlighting its scale.
Leading the ensemble cast are Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash. Ranbir Kapoor reportedly commands the highest fee, with Rs 75 crore for each part, totaling Rs 150 crore. Yash, who also co-produces, is set to earn Rs 100 crore for his portrayal of Ravana.
Further casting details reveal Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, earning Rs 12 crore for both parts. Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman is reported to receive Rs 40 crore, while Ravie Dubey as Lakshman will earn Rs 20 crore.
In a notable move, Vivek Oberoi has reportedly waived his fee for his role as Vidyutjihva. Arun Govil reprises his iconic role as Lord Ram, this time as King Dashrath, though his salary remains undisclosed. Other notable actors also feature in key roles.
