Namit Malhotra's ambitious two-part film adaptation of Ramayana is poised to achieve international success, with aspirations to make a significant mark in Hollywood. The production aims to showcase the grandeur of India's cultural legacy to a worldwide audience.
The cinematic spectacle is being produced by Prime Focus Studios and Yash's Monster Mind Creations, with visual effects by Oscar-winning studio DNEG. The two-part epic will be released globally in IMAX. Part 1 is scheduled for release in Diwali 2026, followed by Part 2 in Diwali 2027. The film features a stellar cast including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, all directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
