Actor Ram Charan has traveled to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, for wrist surgery scheduled for Sunday, July 28, 2026. He sustained the injury while filming intense wrestling sequences for his recent film, 'Peddi'. Despite the tear in his wrist cartilage, Ram Charan completed promotional activities for the movie before seeking medical attention.
He arrived in Coimbatore with his family, including parents Chiranjeevi and Surekha, and wife Upasana Konidela, who are expected to support him during the procedure at Ganga Hospital. Ram Charan is the third member of his family to undergo surgery this year, following his father and uncle Pawan Kalyan.
Following the surgery, Ram Charan is expected to take several weeks off to recover. He will resume shooting for his next project, tentatively titled RC17, directed by Sukumar, only after receiving medical clearance.
