Actor Ram Charan is preparing for a major physical transformation for his next project, 'RC17', directed by Sukumar. The film is currently in its pre-production phase, with reports indicating Charan will lose up to 15 kilograms. He is expected to adopt a leaner build and grow his hair long for the role. This collaboration marks a reunion for Ram Charan and Sukumar, who previously delivered the hit film 'Rangasthalam' in 2018.

The script for the first half of 'RC17' has been finalized, and the team is actively working on the second half and the climax. While the female lead casting is ongoing, earlier speculations about Rukmini Vasanth have been denied.
