Rakhi Defends Priyanka: 'Copper Digger, Not Gold!'

During a special appearance on the reality show Rise and Fall 2, Rakhi Sawant offered a spirited defense of contestant Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. The situation escalated when fellow contestant Shehzad Poonawalla controversially labeled Priyanka a 'gold digger.' Rakhi immediately challenged this remark, humorously re-framing Priyanka as a 'copper digger' and a 'Nagmani digger,' suggesting she seeks less valuable items. She then turned the tables on Shehzad, questioning his own nature by asking if he was a 'grave digger.'

Sawant's intervention brought her signature outspoken and witty style to the show's ongoing discussions. Her comments provided a sarcastic counterpoint to the insult directed at Priyanka. This event followed a significant argument between Priyanka and Shehzad on a prior episode. In that earlier confrontation, Priyanka had called Shehzad a 'man child,' prompting his 'gold digger' retort. Priyanka later expressed how deeply Shehzad's words affected her, noting the irony given her role in financially supporting her family.
