Rakesh Bedi, whose character Jameel Jamali and dialogue "Bachcha hai tu mera" from "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" have gone viral, has responded to claims of receiving a Rs 1 crore bonus. The actor, nearing five decades in the industry, humorously suggested that he should benefit from the widespread use of his popular dialogue in various brand creatives and memes.

During a recent interaction, Bedi laughed off the Rs 1 crore bonus reports, stating that while his name and dialogue are being used extensively, he hasn't yet seen such an amount. He also shared his perspective on the film industry, noting how audience habits and theatrical reach have changed significantly since the days of "Sholay," which ran for five years.

Bedi, who has over 150 films to his credit, maintains a positive outlook on his career. He expressed contentment with his current work and success, emphasizing that he avoids getting depressed over roles he might not have received, preferring to enjoy what he has.
