Actor Rakesh Bedi Debunks PMO Script Rumors

Actor Rakesh Bedi recently debunked persistent rumors suggesting the script for the successful Dhurandhar film franchise, starring Ranveer Singh, originated from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). Bedi shared that he himself contributed many humorous lines to the movie, even though director Aditya Dhar was initially hesitant about adding comedy.

Speaking at the Amrit Ratna 2026 summit, Bedi used a memorable comedic dialogue from the film to illustrate his point. He questioned who in the PMO could have possibly written such a line, thus dismissing the claims entirely.
