1 Mar
Summary
- Rajpal Yadav refuted Priyadarshan's claim about poor education.
- The actor stated his career proves his educational background is adequate.
- Yadav was recently released on bail in a Rs 9 crore cheque-bounce case.

Actor Rajpal Yadav has publicly addressed filmmaker Priyadarshan's recent comments suggesting his legal difficulties were due to a lack of education. Yadav asserted that this claim is "completely wrong," emphasizing his extensive experience working since age 11 as evidence of his capabilities.
He argued that professional setbacks are common and should not be conflated with an individual's educational qualifications. Yadav further stated that his sustained presence in the industry for nearly three decades contradicts the notion that poor education has hindered him.
Priyadarshan had previously remarked that Yadav's "poor education" led to a "blunder," while also expressing a desire to help the actor. Yadav had surrendered in Tihar Jail on February 5 in connection with a Rs 9 crore cheque-bounce case from 2012.
He was subsequently released on bail on February 17, with the court granting him interim relief and suspending his sentence until March 18. During this period, he was permitted to attend a family wedding.
