Rajkumar Hirani Open to Directing Horror Comedy

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, celebrated for socially relevant hits, has expressed openness to directing a horror comedy. He stated that his decision would hinge on a script that genuinely excites him, rather than following genre trends. Hirani believes filmmakers should not be confined to a single genre and should instead pursue stories that deeply connect with them.

Hirani further elaborated that his creative process begins with the script, and he is always actively seeking strong material from various sources. Whether it's a thriller, drama, or horror comedy, the narrative's strength is the ultimate deciding factor for him. Alongside potential new film projects, Hirani is also venturing into the streaming space by backing the upcoming web series 'Pritam and Pedro'.
