Prabhas and Maruthi's upcoming film, The Raja Saab, is facing a slower-than-expected pace in its US advance box office bookings for premiere shows. As of December 18, 2025, the film has garnered $121K in pre-sales, with over 4,000 tickets sold across numerous locations. This figure is currently trailing behind the advance ticket sales of other anticipated South Indian films.

Specifically, The Raja Saab's current pre-sales of $121K are slightly behind Jr NTR's Devara, which had reached $122K around the same period. It also lags behind Rajinikanth's Coolie, which had achieved $128K in US pre-sales with 22 days still remaining until its premiere. The film's producers are reportedly planning to release more promotional content to generate further excitement and improve the booking momentum.

Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab is a romantic horror-comedy with a reported budget exceeding 400 crore rupees. The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with the auspicious Sankranti holidays.
