British rock band Radiohead will embark on their first Australian tour in 15 years in May 2027. The band has announced 16 shows scheduled across three major cities: Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney.
Their tour commences with four performances at Perth's RAC Arena on May 3rd. This will be followed by a series of six shows each at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena and Sydney's Afterpay Arena. The band also confirmed five concerts in Saitama, Japan, marking their return to Japan after 19 years.
Fans interested in attending the Australian shows are required to register on an online portal managed by Frontier Touring. This process aims to ensure equitable ticket distribution and prevent unauthorized sales. Registration is open until Thursday at 5 PM AEST, with successful applicants notified from Friday onwards.
Radiohead last toured Australia following the release of their 2011 album, 'The King of Limbs.' While frontman Thom Yorke performed solo shows in 2024, this 2027 tour represents a full band return to the country where they first performed in 1994. The band's last studio album was 'A Moon Shaped Pool' in 2016.
