The 9th Ibero-American Animation Quirino Awards recently concluded, with Alberto Vázquez's "Decorado" earning the coveted Best Feature Film award. This victory marks Vázquez's third Quirino Award, having previously won for his short films "Decorado" (2018) and "Homeless Home" (2021). The Spanish-Portuguese co-production "Decorado" also achieved recognition with an animated feature Goya Award earlier this year.
Notable wins also included Colombia's "There Is Something Behind You" for Best Series and Portugal's "Dog Alone" for Best Short Film.
