In the upcoming film '100 Nights of Hero', set to release in theaters on December 5th, 2025, a young bride named Cherry finds herself at the center of a high-stakes bet between her husband and his friend Manfred. Her husband has wagered that if Manfred can seduce Cherry in 100 nights, he will hand over their entire estate.
To keep Cherry distracted, her maid Hero steps in, promising to tell her a new story each night, loosely adapting the framework of the classic Arabic folktale collection One Thousand and One Nights. "Anytime that you need rescuing, I'll tell a story," Hero assures Cherry in the exclusive trailer.
The film, based on the graphic novel by Isabel Greenberg, boasts a dreamy main cast, including scream queen Maika Monroe as Cherry, Emma Corrin as the captivating Hero, and Nicholas Galitzine as the seductive Manfred. Rounding out the ensemble are Richard E. Grant as the local deity Birdman, Felicity Jones as Moon/the Narrator, and Charli XCX as Rosa, a character in Hero's tales.
With its queer feminist twist on timeless folklore, '100 Nights of Hero' promises to captivate audiences with its blend of sensuality, storytelling, and sisterhood.
