Queen Elizabeth II was delighted by her great-granddaughter Princess Lilibet during their only meeting in 2022, a royal author has claimed. Lilibet, then one year old, reportedly crawled around the monarch's feet, leaving the Queen "thrilled."
This meeting occurred a few months before the Queen's passing. Author Robert Hardman also revealed the late monarch's final wish: to create a happy memory for all 12 of her great-grandchildren by inviting them to Balmoral Castle in Scotland during the summer before her death.
Invitations were extended to all of the Queen's great-grandchildren, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet. Other great-grandchildren invited were the children of Peter Phillips, Zara and Mike Tindall, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie.
