Quavo: Takeoff's Death Mended Migos Rift

Quavo has shared insights into how the tragic loss of Takeoff impacted his relationship with Offset. He described the situation as having "eased" the friction that previously existed between the Migos members. Quavo explained that Takeoff's passing was significant enough for him to set aside past grievances and support Offset through their shared grief.

The reconciliation process between Quavo and Offset has been gradual, spanning several years. Following Takeoff's death in 2022, the two artists paid tribute to him at the BET Awards in June 2023. By 2025, Offset indicated they were communicating regularly. Demonstrating their mended bond, they recently appeared together in Los Angeles at the release party for Quavo's album 'QRÖMELIFE,' set for release on October 2, 2026. The album includes the track "Away," a collaboration with Offset, marking their first musical work together since "We Did It" in 2022.
